Dainese's new 2011 Rebel has the quality and comfort you would expect from a premium leather jacket. It is constructed from Dainese's proprietary D-skin leather which is extremely plush and maintains 80% more tensile strength and 60% more abrasion resistance than standard cowhide.
The Rebel fits nice and snug, but is not restrictive due to the ingenious stretch panels. It has superior ventilation through isolated vented leather panels, and the perforated leather is not located around the seams of the jacket, which make it more tear-resistant. The neck collar borrows it's design from Dainese's racing suits which makes it much more comfortable - especially in the riding position.
The inside of the jacket sports a removable liner to compensate for year-round temperature changes, pockets to accomodate full-length back protectors, special honeycomb-molded CE approved armor in the shoulders and elbows that allows for better air flow through the jacket.
