DUNLOP Q2

The new Q2 incorporates race-tested advancements that add up to a vastly superior tire equally at home on the street or the track.

+ Intuitive Response Profile (IRP) technology in the rear tire intuitively allows the rider greater latitude in line choice while cornering and provides amazingly linear steering no matter what shape, speed or camber the corner, and at all lean angles.

+ Radical new profile puts down a bigger footprint at extreme lean angles while also allowing greater lean angles and higher corner speeds to provide substantially better grip and handling.

+ Dunlop’s advanced Multi-Tread technology combines the benefits of a tough, long-wearing center compound for increased mileage with a special lateral-grip compound on each shoulder for superior cornering traction.

+ New carcass construction in both the front and rear tires includes newly designed continuous hex beads that are both lighter and stronger to enhance steering response in the front tire and increase cornering stability in both tires.

+ Q2 rear tire features a newly developed, stiffer version of Dunlop’s Jointless Band (JLB) construction that utilizes a continuously wound aramid belt for reduced carcass distortion, plus stiffer overall construction to meet high-performance demands and provide a more consistent contact patch.

Michelin Power Pure

Michelin Power Pure

Light Tire Technology (LTT): MICHELIN® Power Pure tires are some two pounds lighter per pair than other comparable sportbike tires, without compromising durability or performance. LTT reduces unsprung weight and rotating mass, benefiting acceleration, braking and grip.

Two Compound Technology (2CT): The center compound withstands aggressive acceleration and braking, while the softer shoulder compound helps ensure outstanding grip on road or track. Wider 2CT shoulders compared to other MICHELIN tires mean that most or all of the contact patch is made up of softer, grippier rubber when the bike is leaned into corners.

Semi-slick tread design: Grooves cover only 12% of the tread surface, helping to maximize the contact patch. The resulting grip helps facilitate extreme lean angles. MICHELIN® Power Pure™ tread patterns were inspired by those of MICHELIN racing rain tires.

New racing-derived tread compounds: Michelin enlisted the experience of its competition chemists and materials experts to develop three all-new tread compounds for Power Pure.

DUNLOP ROADSMART

Dunlop Roadsmart

Roadsmart features a new pattern with higher groove concentration in the central tread area to maximise wet performance . The "Triple Tread" rear construction places the traction compound in this area to enhance tyre life, whilst the 'Flex Steel' jointless belting system increases high speed stability by better absorbing shocks from road surface imperfections . The "grip" compound is is placed in the shoulder section to give high wet and dry grip performance in turns .New compounds have been developed for this latest sport touring tyre from Dunlop using ultra fine carbon enriched with silica.

Features
- Large size range
- New pattern assists even wear and wet drainage
- New compounds arranged as a "Triple Tread" rear layout • Using 'ultra fine' smaller diameter carbon enriched with silica, Roadsmart incorporates the very latest in Dunlop rubber technology.

Benefits

- Higher groove concentration in the centre maximises water drainage. Sub grooves optimise contact pressure for mileage and even wear.

MICHELIN PILOT ROAD 2

- High Module Low Shrinkage polyester carcass for regular and large footprint area to maximize traction and braking
- Optimized steering precision and traction provided by the small hard knobs on the front
- Racing compound form high performance level for the entire race, regardless of conditions

Dunlop Geomax MX51

- New profile design with more tread volume (greater land/sea ratio) in the shoulders for excellent cornering grip and a more open center-tread area for straight-line grip.
- Recessed biting edges in shoulder tread blocks yield more traction for greater grip, especially in corners and ruts, throughout a wide range of terrain conditions.
- Chiseled shoulder block shape improves side traction and makes traversing ruts easier. This tapered shape facilitates knob penetration through soft surfaces, whereas a flat knob would ”float” and/or be deflected. Instead, the tapered knob penetrates into the firmer underlying ground to give the tire more bite for more traction.
- Tie-bar design connects and reinforces the tread blocks for greater tread stiffness, yielding improved intermediate-to-hard terrain performance.
- Recess design in the area between tread blocks gives the tire improved compliance for enhanced ride comfort.
- Enhanced land/sea ratio and wider tread profile for improved traction.
- Larger-radius tread block base for strength and increased durability.

Dunlop Geomax MX71

- New profile design with more tread volume (greater land/sea ratio) in the shoulders for excellent cornering grip.

- Directional front tire pattern for enhanced grip and cornering traction in hard-pack conditions.

- Directional and asymmetric rear tire pattern plus “Double TornadoWave” rear tire block distribution for optimum traction and braking ability.
- Unique placement of “camber traction blocks” for optimum lean-angle traction and grip when exiting corners.
